It is very excellent for me. I face some problems which really makes me be panic and hesitate to speak my idea immediately during my speech
So I pretty like this candidate's Speaking test

Thanks for this amazing video however I thought we weren’t expected to use informal language like “gonna”, “stuff”

Is the word "gonna" not a slang? Thought its not allowed to use slangs.

So this is a proof that having a slang and accent is more Important than having a proper content. She definitely lacked the content in many occasions.

Sorry, yes she speaks perfectly(pronunciation and speech are amazing).♡ However, she hesitated a lot and used the word "you know" a lot. So I'm wondering did anyone notice it?

I have one question to ask. My ielts mentor told me to not use “you” in speaking but I did use “you” a lot in my last examination and got 7.5 in speaking. May I know your thoughts on that?

Can we directly mention the examiner, that is speak in second person as in “do you ever get the feeling of this and that” and so on?

How about if that language hesitation is a sophisticated word that native speakers use rarely or only a couple of native who studied medicine or laws. We can’t always paraphrase and find synonym. How about describing what you mean. I don’t remember the word, but I can describe what I mean with a lot of words and sentences and you will have a picture about what I am talking about. We can’t control all the passive and active vocabulary. She had to speak off the cuff. This can also happen to native speakers as well. Every native speaker has also language barrier hesitation. I don’t know the name of all parts of a car, even in my native language. Do you know the name of each bone of your body. I am talking about that kind of language. Communication is very different than knowing a bunch of grammar rules and a couple of words that you learned by heart.

The reasoning given by the video host at 9:00 is quite illogical. No one drives a train or a bus. By drive means to drive a car/van/personal vehicle. By drive – is sufficient in spoken English to communicate the meaning and essence completely to the listener.

I took the exam last month and I got 6.5 at speaking which i think it’s great for my first try + i did a lot of mistakes I know but I’m sure that the thing that made my mark higher was speaking naturally to the examiner I didn’t realize that it was important until you said it thank you
